Single speed glass mastering, clear trays, full color printing - make
your CD stand out from the crowd with features for which other companies will charge you extra.
|
SINGLE SPEED GLASS MASTERING
| | |
Glass mastering is the process of taking the digital data comprising your audio and
creating the stampers used in replication. Many manufacturers save money by doing this at
high speed and charge you more if you request single speed glass mastering. The glass
mastering for CD's we press is done at the highest quality as a single speed transfer at
no additional cost.
Combining the delivery of your master as a DDP file with single speed glass mastering
results in the highest quality you can get with CDs.

DISC PRINTING
| |
Our standard pricing includes three color printing on the CD face. Additional colors are
available for an additional $0.02/disc.
You can utilize the entire face of the CD for printing, there is no non-printable ring to
intrude on your design.
Offset CD face printing
For $0.10/disc more you can have your CD face printed using a higher quality offset printing
process. If you would like to use a color photo or other highly colorful and detailed artwork
this would be the best route to go.
| |
INSERT PRINTING
| | |
All our insert and tray cards are printed full color on both sides. All printing is done
with a digital press system that creates plates straight from files without making film
negatives. That saves several hundred dollars by not having to get film color-separations
for any of the printing.

CDDB REGISTRATION
| | |
When someone puts your CD into their online computer, the artist name, album name and all
the song titles will display automatically. This is made possible by the CDDB created by
Gracenote.
Products such as Apple's iTunes, RealNetworks RealPlayer, AOL's Winamp, Napster 3.0 and
CD/DVD PC applications from Roxio and Sonic Solutions access this data base via the
internet. When we are done mastering your CD, we will submit the data for your disc to
Gracenote.
