Polishing the audio will make your video more professional, whether we’re rescuing troubled
location audio, making effective music edits, or doing audio restoration.
We've got the experience and the tools to resurrect audio that you might have left for dead. Our
many years of professional music production and mastering gives us an edge when it comes to
doing tricky music edits. We can save hours of trial and error editing because we know where it
musically makes sense to edit a particular track.

Final Cut Pro™ makes life easy for audio post production work. OMF or AAF files from Final Cut
Pro™ are preferred. If you don’t have OMF/AAF capability, simply export the audio tracks as AIFF
files.
Since many video editing systems will let you choose the sample rate when you export the audio,
you should choose the same sample rate the project is using. This prevents any unnecessary
sample rate conversions.
For video, export as a small-format Quicktime movie, generally 320x240 will work just fine. The
quality and size of the Quicktime movie doesn't need to be very good, because it will just be
used as a reference when we do the audio work.
LAYING IN THE SWEETENED AUDIO
The beauty of audio sweetening in the digital domain is that the audio
files move in and out of the non-linear editing system without the
syncronization problems encountered with analog sytems. There will be no
issues of time code resolution or drift. The audio we deliver to you
will line up exactly with the original.
COSTS
Our rate is $120 per hour for our audio post services. Services must be paid for when rendered.
